From Amit Bhadana to Subramanian Swamy, Everyone’s supporting AISA’s Protest! #ProtestAgainstExamsInCOVID

On 17th August 2020, Sandeep Saurav National General Secretary of AISA (All India Students Association) declared that there should be a National Protest Day on 21st August. He urged all the students from all parts of India to come on Twitter and write about their Problems using #ProtestAgainstExamsInCovid.

This started trending #1 on Twitter in India. As of now there are over 2.7M million tweets on Twitter (8:42PM) still many students are tweeting every second. It gained a lot of media attention that even news channels started showing news about the postponement of JEE & NEET.

CBSE compartment students have also participated in this protest as whatever the board has been doing with the students is wrong and full of discrimination. On 20th August, Supreme Court disposed the case on cancellation of exams however Supreme Court said students can file another PIL challenging the notification by the board.

Amit Bhadana One of the most subscribed content creator from India also tweeted about the postponement of JEE Mains & NEET as a lot of students can get affected by the deadly virus if exams are conducted.

Subramanian Swamy Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha also tweeted regarding this matter. He said he is going to have a conversation with the ministry of education that examinations should be conducted after Diwali and he has also written to PM Modiji regarding this

There are thousands of other celebrities who have shown support for this protest and said Exams should be cancelled amidst the pandemic & Competitive exams like JEE, NEET & CLAT etc.. should be postponed as health is the biggest priority.
